This class offered by IRIS Fire Investigations

Commercial Fire Losses: Scene Management, Evidence Preservation, and Subrogation Readiness is a practical educational class designed for insurance adjusters, claims professionals, and property-loss teams who handle large commercial fire losses. The course explains how to protect critical facts, preserve evidence, and coordinate scene activity without slowing claim progress, mitigation, or business recovery. It emphasizes real-world decision points such as access control, documentation before cleanup, joint inspections, chain of custody, and early identification of subrogation opportunities.
This class is especially relevant to adjusters because it focuses on the first 72 hours of a loss, when early actions can either preserve options or create avoidable disputes. It also provides a balanced framework for working with carriers, public adjusters, counsel, investigators, engineers, and mitigation contractors while maintaining scene integrity and claim momentum.
